In this 2007 oral history interview with Richard Norton Smith, Baker talks about Bob Dole's campaigns in 1976, 1980, 1988, and 1996.

Baker served as White House Chief of Staff for President Reagan (1981-1985) and President H.W. Bush (1992-1993). He also served as U.S. Secretary of the Treasury (1985-1988) and as Secretary of State (1985-1988). He worked closely with Senator Dole, especially during the 1991 Gulf War.
