In this 2007 oral history interview with Brien R. Williams, Kim Wells talks about his time working as a legislative assistant for Bob Dole, including Dole's campaign style, farm policy, and nutrition programs.

Wells served as Kansas Republican State Party Central Committee Chair (1991-1995). He also served as an aide to Senator Dole in the 1970s and as an informal advisor on several of Dole's campaigns.
