In this 2008 oral history interview with Brien R. Williams, Koch talks about Dole's bid for Vice President in 1976, the Watergate scandal, and Dole's role as "hatchet man" for President Nixon.

Koch was a speechwriter for Senator Dole. He also worked on the 1976 Ford-Dole presidential campaign as well as Senator Dole’s run for president in 1980. He has held many positions in government including the Department of Defense and the Nixon White House.
